Sorry for getting off the original topic and letting this slip back into what most of those who own a CC already know if you actually have to use them: THEY STINK!
I own two houses and the boat travels over three hundred miles a weekend. Should not have to choose between a single axle (numerous reasons against) or a tandem that sits so low the front cross member and prop guard hit. I do not live in Florida or the High Plains!
And one more rant: THIS IS NOT A PRICE POINT ISSUE! Anyone who would suggest a single axle trailer is becomming more popular on a 3,500 lb boats because it is cheaper, in all due respect, is an idiot.
These are $50,000 plus luxury items--price point was left at Bayliners doorstep.
