Can anyone give me instructions on how to put the Bimini and tower down on a 2014 230. I have not tried it too much as I didn't want to break anything. I was told that after pulling the pins the outer sides of the Bimini fold into the middle. I know how to do the tower I think I just can't figure out the Bimini and how it folds then goes to the bow.

Remove the two knobs on the bimini, but keep the rear pins in place. Have someone lift the bimini as you lower the tower, and rest the bimini on the provided pole in the bow, so that the bimini frame does not touch the windshield. That is what I was thinking. However still confused on the Bimini folding into the middle. My understanding is I need to pull the side pins and then the left and right side should fold to the middle. Is that correct. I think I understand how the tower comes down and how the front of the Bimini rest on the pole in the bow. I'm just confused on the Bimini folding up somewhat in the middle.
Thank you for the help.

Jeff...I think you may be one step ahead of what he is asking....the way I read it...and correct me if i'm wrong since I don't own the newer bimini on the G boats...but it sounds like he is asking how to fold the ends of the bimini in first (left and right), to get it narrow, then be able to fold the tower down and pivot the tower at the same time. You just fold it over from each side after disconnecting the arms on either side. See this video at 7:30.

Help with Bimini and towere
Make sure you put the pins back in the holes after you fold the side flaps in or they will chip the tower when you drive. I do this every trip by myself. Once the Bimini cover is in place, unlock the tower with the right and left levers at the tower base, remove the front knobs from the Bimini arms and put them in the dance threaded storage hikes right above the holes you take them out of. Now the tower is ready to come down. I grab my Bimini support pole and walk into the bow, make sure you close the pass through window behind you. Grab the front pole of the Bimini and slowly pull it to the bow. The tower will come down and you will hold in to the from Bimini pole and bring it to the very front of the boat. Make sure you push back on the tower with the Bimini as it lowers or it could crash on the windshield. Also make sure your motto is completely folded up under the windshield. Once down, snap the support pile onto the front pole of the Bimini and fold a towel several times and put in the front seat to rest the support pile base on. It's very easy once you figure it out.

I would not. The large steel Bimini supports are Millimeters from the windshield. Is hate for that support pole to slip and have those banging against the window. Just pull the rear pins for the Bimini and take it off if you want to trailer with the tower down.
