    Ballast ??

New owner of a 2014 230. I am a little confused with the ballast and Linc system. I added the pro wake/ surf ballast ( port, starboard, and bow) It is my understanding the factory ballast fill first. Is this correct. Next question do I need to change any settings in the linc system. When the ballast says full does that just mean the factory are full or factory plus the additional. For instance it seems the belly will say full put the bag in the bow is empty so I turn pumps on for it to fill. Obviously not a problem if I fill them all as I can see the water come out the vents and know they are full. The problem is when I want to empty some I have no idea if it is truly half full 3/4 full etc. this is causing problems when switching from surfing to wakeboarding

i HAVE ALWAYS WISHED THAT NAUTIQUE WOULD GO BACK TO HAVING THE THE EMPTYING PORTS on the side and not underneath the boat SO YOU COULD HAVE A VISUAL OF THEM WORKING.

We figured out the only way to get a real reading on ballast level when emptying the extra bags is to completely shut down the boat, enter code and hit stop. When you re-enter the code and start the boat back up the level sensors give you a true level reading. That's the only time the sensors do anything from what I understand. The rest of the time LINC is working off full and drain time only, not sensor readings.

checkout the thread (g23 ballast filling after drained and power off) good information... Adam Greer, from Fla gives the best explanation how everything works
