Hello, I have a 1989 Ski Nautique 2001. I noticed the transmission is noisy when in gear. There's also a slight forward rotation when in neutral. Is there a tutorial on repairing this issue. Thanks!

Remove the shift cable on the trans and shift by hand, see if the noise remains in forward/reverse, and if neutral is still dirty.. Could be a simple cable adjustment needed... Check the fluid while your at it..
I bought an '89 with a noisy trans, sounded like rocks being tossed around inside.. Thought it was the damper plate, but wasn't.. Rebuilt the carb, and set the timing that was way off... All is good now...
