I have recently purchased a 2000 210 and it has the stock tanks in the back and a tube in the locker. I will however probably remove them and put 750s in. In my previous boat, a 2002 x star, I ran 500ish in each rear locker, 375 in the ski locker, and 650ish in the bow. I really liked that wake at about 21.6-22 and about 65-70 feet. I searched but couldn't find a thread talking about peoples' favorite setups. So, in short, what are yall's setups in your 210s.

You're gonna find you don't need nearly as much weight to get a similar wake. I had a 2000 XStar that logged over 1200 hours. Ran it with 750's in rear , locker sac, 800 in the nose at 24.5mph and 80ft.
My advice on the 2000 SAN start with the factory and about an extra 400 in the nose. 22mph and add 5ft to your rope length so 70ft. The wake on the SAN will be much narrower so the additional 5ft is needed. If that doesn't satisfy you start adding a bit more to each compartment in 100lb increments because a little bit goes a long way on this hull where on the Xstar you needed bit a more to pump it up. Unless you plan on surfing, 750's are way overkill on the SAN. That is unless you're looking to win the pro tour. But if you run em you will need at least 1k in the bow. The SAN really likes bow weight were. I had my Xstar little rear heavy to get it set nice and peaky.Last edited by swatguy; 10-21-2014, 04:31 PM.

750's in rear lockers, ~900 in ski locker (I had a custom bag made that fills the entire ski locker), bow sac under seat ~300, 160lbs lead under front seat, 400 against rear seat, 400 in bow. Riding 80ft at ~23.5.

I get the water weight idea and I personally don't count water weight against my placard, but throw that water filled sac over and it doesn't float on top of the water it floats below itLast edited by swatguy; 10-22-2014, 05:46 PM.

I bet my wake is still smaller than a stock ballast G23.
