Wake size and water depth with NSS on G21

We have a 2008 SANTE with piggybacked ballast. We mainly use the boat for wakeboarding but occasionally go wakesurfing. We have realized from experience and talking with others that water depth can have a major effect on surf wake size. Our lake has a mucky bottom and can get shallow at spots ( 5' deep). I am considering upgrading to a G21 with NSS in the future. Are surf wakes on boats with NSS less affected by changes in water depth?

Nope. Same idea applies whether the wave is created by leaning the boat or by NSS.

You need at least 12-15' for a good wake.

At 12ft your wave just starts to shrink. At 9 it is flat.

You need to stay in 15ft or deeper for best results.
