Thanks. I'm hoping to finish the boat by mid January then work on a few more bars before the snow melts. That way I'll be all ready to go when summer rolls around.

The big bar was just that, BIG. I'm planning on another mini bar and making a 6 person bar height table from the bow section this time around.

I just showed the Ski Nautique bar photos to my wife. That truly is awesome. I had a Ski Nautique that vintage, so there are some good memories there; and your quality of work is superb!

After 10 days of glass & paint I can finally say the stringers are DONE. With the structure finished it's time to start re-installing all the interior mechanical components.

Although I've gotten a ton of work done over the past few months but I'm keeping most of it under wraps until sections are completely finished. I just wrapped up the dash wiring last night. It's so sweet to see it start to come to life. The dash features a new JBL radio, aftermarket speedo, digital depth finder and red gauges taken from my 83 parts Nautique.

Next on the to-do list is the interior / floor, heater installation & exterior air brushing.

Getting closer: Thanks to My brother and his friend the Tique is starting to look like a Correct Craft again. Hand painted, just like it was in '79.

Pylon top & extended pylon top machining. The larger pylon head will be mounted on a tube that slides over the existing pylon adding 12-18" of height clearing the back seat & engine cover better. Plus it'll make around-the-boat tricks easier.

Getting there: Got the interior 95% finished as well as the airbrushing. You see somebody decided to "paint" the boat along the way instead of gel-coating it. The paint itself was in decent shape except a few gouges here and there. Instead of stripping off the paint and gel-coating it I decided to have a little fun and airbrush on metal panels on a coverups. It fits the whole rat-rod boat them and was a cheap and easy way to get the boat looking better. Plus if anyone scratches the boat in the future I'll just paint on another panel.

The interior went in pretty easily. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can try it out on the water.

Fishing boat seats? They sure are. The seats came with the boat and were in good shape so I figured why not and put them in, she's a rat-rod remember. Not to shoot myself in the foot I saved the original seats / brackets in case I want to have them reupholstered in the future. As for the rear seat it's a temporary fix. I had a local vinyl shop whip up the cover for $60 bucks and I used the existing back pad. Someday I'll get a matching interior.

To maximize the ski season here in New England I opted to install a summit racing heater under the dash. Happy driver - happy skiers. Plus it'll help knock off that late October frost come fall.
