I live on LKN, and I use a box anchor. Holds my 226 really well and when I am done, it collapses down and fits into a storage bag that came with it. Easily stores in the anchor locker in the bow of my boat. Highly recommend it!

I should add to be careful with the bag. My last boat showed up with a couple of red streaks on the vinyl that would not come off, even with magic erasers. I finally isolated it to when I remove the anchor at the end of the year, dragging the vinyl bag across the boat vinyl would tattoo the color of the anchor bag onto the vinyl. My bag was red. So be careful about letting that bag drag even in the slightest on your vinyl. It could also have something to do with intense heat since it is not unusual to get 110 degrees here in the summer, and probably hotter under the seat. I now pack my anchor without the bag under the front bow cushions.
