    Stone Guard

Just wondering what you use to protect the hull of your boat from stones when towing over unsealed surfaces. Our Club boat has like a tonneau cover that comes down over the front and attaches to the trailer, is there anything out there ready made for SAN's?

    RE: Stone Guard

I had to tow my boat about 1000 miles once, and although I don't have a picture, I simply hung a 2X10 from the rear bumper. Looked like H#ll Yellow_Flash_Colorz: but it was very effective in keeping gravel and road grime off the hull.
I checked with a number of people who haul their boats to tournaments, and they almost universally preferred a stone guard hanging from the rear bumper. There are a number of commercial products, some that use rubber, some using a bush, etc.

I use one of these behind the Excursion, attaches to the draw bar and seems to work pretty well. http://reserveamerica.campingworld.c...=1450&src=SRQB
The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

It's the Roswell RockGard. It's pretty nifty, good for if you tow with multiple vehicles. You can get them off their website...like www.roswellwakeair.com I believe. Ours was only $550 shipped. Looks pretty sharp and fits great.
