I have the regular flight clips on my 2003 SAN FCT but I need to add a surdoard rack and another wakeboard rack. anybody have more then 2 sets of racks on their FCT and where? what brand? I'm concerned about the looks of adding a differnt style of racks with the the flight clips.

I would hold off for just a little longer. I'm hearing that the new flight clips are going to be like yours you have now but that they will clamp on. If that is the case you will have something like you have now so they match and you can clamp them to the rectangular tubes on top of the tower. I have installed a total of 4 nVert racks on my tower once while at Lake Cumberland to carry enough boards. I will be attending the Correct Craft dealer meeting on Monday and if I get any info I will be sure to post it here ASAP.

I am hoping to have racks I can mount on the regular cross bar on the FTC below where the normal flight clips are mounted. I hate having racks on the top of the tower. The water drips all over the speakers and people in the boat not to mention it's a pain getting them up there. But I'm open to all the options. Also, I need a rack for a surfboard and I don't think the clips will work...Comment

:lol: :lol: The racks should go on tha back, to each side of the sun deck. I have made a special replacement rail out of 1 1/2" aluminumun like the FCT, a bit taller to occomadate the wake design racks. It keeps the boards tward the rear of the boat where you use them. They don't drip on the driver and passanger, and I think they look better there. Wonder how long till a company coppies this idea. Ha Ha.Comment

Could you post a pic of your setup. Sounds like a viable option if it works.
Also, with the new Flight Clip clamps you still couldn't mount the them on the top bars because of the angle on the tower the boards wouldn't clear the bars. Whereas on the sides because the tower is angled inward the boards are able to clear.
With the new clamps, I feel it makes for pushing the boards out further from the tower hence no boards banging up against the front tower leg.

Will post pictures soon, boat is currently garaged. I will take some pics. next time I'm at the garage.
I am thinking about building some more rails like these. Is anyone interested in buying any? Cost looks like about $400/ set plus racks. If I can have more made cost goes down quit a bit.Comment

unless I can find something better I am going to get 2 Nvery racks and mount on the cross bar below the flight clips.. I'd love for everything to match, but the way the clips are set up won't allow for another pair.. Here is a discussion on the topic.
