Looks like the water had receeded a few feet since I was there in June.

We were recently up at our vacation house on Lakehead, you could check the water level at 8PM, wake up the next morning and notice a little less than a 1 foot drop...it's going down pretty rapidly, nothing like last year, though.

wake_fun, did you happen to have that boat in for service at Mid-State Marine about 3 weeks ago? May have been a different boat...

We had to move the houseboat down the bank every morning and evening because of the water going down.

No, I didn't have it in for service anywhere, just in my garage being serviced

              Who doesn't love shasta!!!!!!!!!

Picture from late june... going back for a week labor day! I can't wait... By the way I do NOT recommend going out of Silverthorne. I will never never never go back there again. I've had 5 awesome trips out of Holiday Harbor. Decided to change it up a bit this year and paid the price.

                Actiondcpd -
That picture was taken where we usually wakeboard/ski every morning until the everyone else comes out. Love the Squaw Creek arm and it easy access to the Pit Arm for afternoon runs.
Also, really like the color combi of your boat. Makes my old 2000 SAN with just the red "N" look pretty plain. The sad part is, no Shasta trip for us this year - too much going on this summer to get a week away. We will not miss next year, however.

I love the Squaw arm in June. I gotta get back there... One more month! When do you go up? I loved riding the pit arm as well until I saw it in September. There were trees sticking out of the water everywhere!

We usually are there in May and week in late June or early July. With the lake being so full this year the Pit arm should be good though the summer and into October. The trees tend to be along the shore so just be sure to stay in the main channel late in the season or when there is a beyond normal drawdown.
Have a great time next month.
