OK, I have just read through the threads using the search function and still have a question. I have the Stock prop on my 1990 sport and would like to increase the RPMS by another 1000 or so.
Right now at 25mph im at 2300-2400 rpms. I would like to scrub some top end for just a wee pit more pull out of the hole.
We dont use any weight but may in the future. I would still like to get a top speed of 35+ With the stock prop I think it will top out at 45. I havent had it up to that speed yet.
I have inquired some acme sources and they have recomended 4 blade modle numbers# 422 and 470.
Does anyone use a 3 blade acme that still gets them 35+mph? How well does it pull boarders and keep speeds at 21mph?
3 blade Acme reconmendations?
