Dropping the Nautique Off...

Just today, due to recent changes in plan, we had to drop off the Nautique to get some service done to it... Sounds normal, except the place that is doing it is off the side of a main road that has a lot of crap going on it throughout the night...

We had no choice but to leave the Nautique off the side of the road kind of in a small alley, alone, in the dark, w/o anybody there to watch it.... All we did was lock the hitch, but I keep thinking off all the things that may not be there tomorrow when the store opens, like tower speakers, or the tower lights that they will be working on... Its like dropping your boat off in your local 7-11 parking lot and seeing what happens over the night... I can't sleep... has anyone done this w/ their boat before? There can't be 2 idiots out there...

No, just unfortunately that's where I have had to take my boat to get serviced. But trust me, it won't happen anymore.

And to add to that, when I dropped the boat off that Sat. afternoon after having it back at the lake, Buxton told us he'd look at it and call back 1st thing on Monday. Thuresday comes and we call to see what's going on and find out they didn't even have a work order made up for it yet.

So much for good and honest service.

I highly discourage anyone to attempt to give anyone there any service.

I hafta chock that one up to a "fluke". People in the Southwest & others know of Buxton's GREAT reputation. Not denying anything, but sometimes **it happens. Been there a couple of times & recommended them & had happy customers call me. As Kum Pow Chicken said, "one incident does a problem NOT make." OF

You're right, once does not make a problem, but twice does. This happened before a few yrs ago. So we thought we'd give them another shot. Instead of making everything come out right, they made it worse.

My uncle uses them and has never had a problem with them. We kept him informed of the whole situation and he said he is very disapointed.
