Fly High Pro X Series Open Bow Sac

Has anyone used one of these in the boat of a SAN? I have a 2003 and want to stick that up front with two v-drive sacks in back. I'm debating using the bow sac, a regular sac perpendicular to the locker or parallel laying across the seats. The triangle shape seems pretty cool because you could get more weight with less height (i'd like to keep a bow cover on). Anyway any advice? The new fly high sacs are pretty sweet IMO!

The Pro-X sacs are awesome, I just got my wedge sacs in the mail today, hopefully I'll be trying 'em out tomorrow, the material is awesome however, very heavy, and the seams of the sacs are almost overkill they're so stout. I'm very impressed so far.

I have no experience with the bow triangle sacs but they look sweet so long as the measurements match up. I'm really happy with the quality.
    How about \"Chales\"?

I have the bow sac in my 01 SAN. Fits like a glove. It was the first Pro-x I bought and since I have the v-drive sacs and the rear bench sac for my ski locker because it fits perectly and holds 680lbs +. I strongly recommend the Bow sac.

        Hey Dragon,

Please let me know what you think of those wedge sacs. Are they meant to fit in with the hard tank wedges?? Or are they supposed to replace them?? OR both??

I was considering those to add to the existing wedges, they look like they would fill in the empty space very effeiciently.

          Alan,

You don't fill that sac all the way do you? I would imagine that much weight up front would put the nose very low. Does the bowcover fill over the sac when it is partially full?

No I do not fill the bow sack all the way. Usually 40-60% most of the time. During week nights, riding with my GF we just fill the factory rear tanks and the 680 in the locker so that we can work on the technical stuff. On weekends we load her up a little more with 50% bow sac and 50% in the V-Drive sacs. If someone really wants to see the full potential of the SAN wake, I will fill everything 100% its about +/-3,000 of water. The bow does not get that low as long as your fill the V-drive sacs too. The most weight I have ever had in my SAN was two weekends ago. Full Ballast, 39 Gal of fuel, and 6 people, average weight 170. So around 4200 lbs. Huge clean wake at 23+ and no trouble Planing with the GT40. Yes the bow cover fits over the bow sac just fine.

              Alan,

DO you have your v-drive sac and bow sac plumbed in or do you fill them manually? How did you plumb them if you did?

I put one of those Fligh High Fat Brick in the bow and that works pretty good. It's 150 lbs and works nicely. It fits nicely in the slot for the ceter cushion. I have been thinking of getting the open bow sac, but that did seem like an extreme amount of weight. Also the brick is easy enough to move around if I need to move it.
