All of this '06 talk has got me thinking. I have an '01 SAN that is in great shape. I does have some regular wear and tear, it also has about 700 hrs, I really don't know because gauges have been replaced, under warranty. And best of all, it is paid for. However, suppose I could get mid/low 30's for it and were to purchase a new/used boat in the 44-50K range. I am becoming a freak when it comes to my boat, every nick and scratch drives me nuts, so i am constantly doing the best i can to keep the boat in the best shape possible, which is quite expensive and time consuming. Would it be stupid to upgrade?

If the exact boat you wanted came along. That was our situation, and then a low hour 02 came on the market, all black with tan stripe, could not pass it up.
I still spen countless hours working on things. Do my best to make sure everything is in order and working as best as I can make it work. That part of it really does not change.
