    Svivel seats on newer nautiques?

I have a 2001 Super Air, which is new to me... and one thing I miss is the ability to interact with people in the boat while crusing around at idle speed. Coming from my 86 Ski Nautique which had a spot I could sit on, on the gunwale, to relax while we cruised the lake at slow speeds.

Has anyone modified their seat base on the drivers' seat to allow for 90 degrees of rotation? I am considering this modification as a winter project. If anyone has crossed this gulf I'd appreciate the input.

    Thanks,
    Erik

With my 95 SS sometimes when we cruised slow we would put my golden retriever Katie in the front seat with a hat on, then I would steer the boat with my foot from the passenger side. Got some strange looks from people when we passed them.

I think it would be possible to put a swivel in there. You can probably buy one at West Marine or Boaters World. They have it on the 211 but you have to have the seat and throttle in just the right place to get it to turn around.
