they won't show you what it looks like because they have only seen a drawing of it and no actual pictures yet.

If the boat looks like the picture that I saw, we will not be impressed. It looks like a hybrid of the 226/210. Flat top w/226 windshield and 226 rounded rear. My wife an I held off buying an 05 model in hopes that the 220 would be a larger version of the 210 with it's clean lines.

Just talked to my friends at White Lake Marine and here is what they said.
"We will have a new 2006 220 Super Air at the Raleigh boat show. It will not be for sale, just display and for orders. It is the first production 220 and is being used by C.C. for promotion."
I will take a ton of pictures on Saturday and post them Saturday night.Life is Short, Live it!

This is what I don't get....the designers at CC are/should be extremely aware of the designs of competitors....but yet they didn't realize they were copying a competitor?
Yet, the very first thought out of all of us ameteur's mouths is "wow, they copied malibu"
I can only assume they are targeting the, apparently large, niche group of inboard buyers who want their boat to match their bicept and felt that malibu did not have the market cornered.
Ok..so I don't hate it that much, but it would have been nice to go with something new AND still CC-ish.
Remember CC - Your the "Clean lines, function over form" boat company.

I hate to say it, but graphics aside, I really like what 'bu is putting out. I just wish that CC could inovate instead of imitate.
The 211 is a great innovation. I just don't care for the curved rear deck.
The new graphic is imitation.

Not impressed with the graphics either to be straight up honest. I give CC a lot of credit for what they do but they need to step up the "flashiness" factor. But I will always take function over flashiness. I do have to say that my 10 year old closed bow still looks awesome though. Saw the new MC's in person the other day. I like some of the styling but I wonder what is going to happen with resale and such down the road.

I believe in function and quality as well but I also believe in innovation and progression.
At first glance some of the things a few other leading boat companies are doing look kind of cool but it boarders on being too flashy and downright gimicky. Theres a fine line that these companies are walking.
Although I'm not as critical about the new logo as some of you, I would still rather see subtle changes in maybe some seating arrangements, improved towers, motor packages, hull design tweeks, etc than just a new logo or a flashy new, gimicky overall look (like some other brands).
