    Throttle Knob Replacement

My throttle knob came off while trailering last weekend and I'm not sure what broke or is missing. I have a 1990 SN. Does anyone have a picture of what the underside of the knob is supposed to look like?

The top of the throttle lever looks like it is both threaded on the inside and splined on the outside. Should inside of the knob have a screw and if so, how can it screw on if the outside of the lever is splined? FYI, my wood knob is cracked and missing the screw if that is how it treads on.

Any idea on replacement cost or cheap alternatives?

    TIA,

    RE: Throttle Knob Replacement

As far as I know the knob just screws on to the throttle arm. If your are looking at splines on the throttle arm you maybe looking at the threaded insert that should have stayed with the knob so you will just need to inscrew it off the arm. New wood or steel knobs are available at www.skidim.com.
