220 - Here it is!!

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you all know that I took down the pictures of the price sheet from Raleigh due to an error on the price sheet that WLM had posted at the show. I am working on clarifying the pricing with Correct Craft, and will post an update soon.

They probably forgot a zero somewhere in there...

What I am hearing so far is that since this is a new boat, the final price has not yet been fully determined, so the pricing that we saw at the show might not be entirely accurate. We need to keep in mind that there are a total of only one or two of these in existence right now.

It seemed way low to me. At the boat show here in Louisville last February, the local Nautique dealer had a new '05 210 for 65K. A loaded '06 220 has to be close to 70K.

I did find out that the ballast in this boat is 950 pounds.

The press releases still describe the 210 as the single-best wakeboard boat on the planet, but mentions in the 220 press release that the incredible Super Air Nautique 220 is nothing like any other wakeboard boat you have been in before with a wake that revolutionizes wakeboarding - "long, firm, rampy wake that supports even the most aggressive riders".

Confused ? Will need to ride behind the 220 ASAP !!! Sounds like a 226ish wake ?????

I don't understand why you would "need" to remove the pic of the price sheet which was publicly offered at a boat show. In fact White Lake had a sign which said, "order your 220 today," correct? It would be different if someone had "borrowed" that sheet.

Is it possible CC was using this price sheet as a gauge for the acceptance of a new model? They wouldn't have done that as a pure market test would they? Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

If I had placed an order at that show for one of the new 220's, would they have come back after I had a deposit with the dealer and said, oh by the way, we made a mistake on the price of that boat, we need another $15K????

I'm not trying to be an a$$ here, but if CC had a price for public consumption on display at the show, they should live with it, this smacks of CC sticking that price up at the show, and seeing how many orders WLM took at the "show price" to see if they had the pricing "right." But it also bugs me that they asked the Planetnautique site to remove it.

I reluctantly agree. However, everyone makes mistakes, and even though their GNP is huge compared to mine, I'm not one to prosecute them for making a mistake..... IF that's what it was.

Also, I clearly agree with one of the above posts, this is a layout for families. Get all the towels, food, drinks in their place, behind doors and eliminate clutter. BTW, where do YOU keep trash? :shock: It's a PITA, right?

I think the answer lies in the fact that you can only buy a new Nautique from the dealer in your area. Prices are not the same from one dealership area to another, some ask a lot more than others.

You figure it out. that is if you get to read this post before CC has it sanatized. hehehe

Maybe there were no mistakes. Maybe CC just doesn't want their dealer's pricing published all over the Internet. There's no point in speculating.
