The biggest question in my mind righ now is: DID THEY FIX THE HELM CONTROL VALVES IN 06?!
    How about \"Chales\"?

      Thanks okwakebrdr...

Yeah, I think an air compressor would be a relatively inexpensive option to offer on any of the boats. Dispite the main purpose of the boat any family with kids are bound to tube sometime.

I do sit sideways in the stern of my friend's MC and I find it very comfoprtable. But I'm looking farward to trying out those rear seats. I just think they are designed for one person facing either direction, with their feet up on the oposite backrest.

I have reservations about the comfortability of the center rear seat. I prefer to put my feet up and wonder if I'll be able to stretch to the engine box.

BKH, it's likely that my lifestyle is different from many others on this website. I don't ski/board with a group of hardcore 22 year old riders. I go out with my family of four and often another family of similar size. It does get crowded and really only my son and myself know the ropes (pun intended) on assisting skiers and docking procedures. it's not my choice, it's just the way life goes...

On the whole, I still think the layout is excellent and can't wait to try all the seats out.

Re. Picture of Rick on page 7...

I thought I knew him! This is his 2000 SAN. I almost bought it when he was upgrading to a 2003. I'm not surprised he's in line for one of the first 220's. And you should see his custom Sky SKi!

I think that there may be more "hits" than "misses". I really need to get in the boat before I can say if the interior works or not. For instance, things like the rear / front facing seat is nice, but would I use it? Supra has their stadium seating I thought the same thing. Tower? Terrible profile, front and rear I don't mind, need to see how tall it is. But for a brand new boat, it looks as if they have adressed some issues. So, I wanna see it in person.
In my opinion there isn't a better tower or interior in a boat better than the X-30. A lot has to do with the beam of that boat, but it's well thought out. I didn't see any specs on the beam of this boat.
One things for sure, I do like the fact that they changed a lot! Do you really forever want a boat with the same old wrap seating? I think after a couple years tweaking, they may have a hit that pleases the masses and who knows?....they may have already adressed some of the issues I have in boating.

So, where do we begin? Oh yeah! How's the wake? 210ish, 211ish, 226ish? Hmmmm.......
The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

I hear you brother. Most of my friends are pushing 40, and I still end
up doing most of the work around the boat. That's the life of a boat owner.

Side note: I think that's the irony of big boats. Sure they hold lots of people, and lots of stuff which would seem to make them ideal for the family. However, the wakes are so big that they're difficult to ski behind, and many women and kids (and even a couple of men) I know are afraid of the size of wake on even my 210 with no ballast. If it werent' for all the stuff that we Americans can't seem to do without, the 216s seem like the most versitile boat for all purpose watersports and families.

I agree. But the downside, IMHO is that boat drives like crap (as does the X10). I'm not wild about the shape of the wakes on those X boats either. To me one of the best things about Correct Craft is that they
seem to put performance first. Some of the others seem to worry about
aestethics and creature comforts first to the detriment of performance. Unless it's really, really ugly, I'll take performance first.

According to the press release that just came out, the wake is....

Hardcore in every detail, the 220 creates a long, firm, rampy wake that supports even the most aggressive riders. The Hydro-Gate which is standard on the Super Air Nautique 220 can adjust the entire body of the boat so you can control the wake’s shape, angle and lip.
                    Sounds like a 226 wake to me.[/quote]

OK, I like the boat and the interior.....but the bling has to stop somewhere. Its getting out of hand. I hope this is just describing the swivel board racks.

Great words bkhallpass, we used to ride MC's but the wake and the performance of CC's in our opinion are indeed better. Bought our first SANTE a few years back and so did a few of our friends, we never had any problems between us and have spent more time on the water than before and improved our riding lots. We have the ZR6 and it's just great, the build quality and reliability are paramount for us as the weather over here is generally poor and our riding time gets limited...
