Maybe there were no mistakes. Maybe CC just doesn't want their dealer's pricing published all over the Internet. There's no point in speculating.
Have I offended you by speaking my mind????

    unbecoming of what????

But I think you are correct. I do not think CC wants people to know that the same boat cost's more or less depending on where you live.

I have to agree with the cynacism here. It is unlikely that the price will be lowered. I find it more likely that the price is going to be HIGHER.

Actually I would choose the word sarcasm instead of cynicism.

Check out this photo of a '74 Carlson. All CC did was to connect the second row rear facing seat with the stern seats. Albeit, with much better style. But I wonder why it took them so long to do it...

                  Yo Fatboy-

Keep on speaking your mind!! God forbid if anyone make fun of Correct Craft's corporate pricing strategy.

Funny how everyone whines about the new stickers on the 2006 boats and it's no big deal, but the minute someone mentions the truth about how prices fluctuate from dealer to dealer people act like their outraged.

I find it outrageous that I had to pay more than other places, since I live in CA....

On a side note, CC needs to work on treating their loyal customers better...I am a loyal customer to nautique. I for one already have issues with the quality of my new 211, but that is a whole different story....

Thats the truth. My family has been loyal CC customers since the beginning. We even told them that even if we didn't think CC made the best boats, which we don't, we would buy a CC over a BU or MC anyday. They should also treat all their dealers equally. Just because my dealer isn't family and has only been selling Nautiques for a 10 yrs doesn't mean he shouldn't be given the same discounts as others, for example.

About the sticker price, it did seem low honestly, but if I bought the 220 there and they asked for more money than we agreed, thats just not right...

Everything in CA is higher - Gas is higher, Real Estate is higher, Cars are higher, Property Taxes are higher, boats are higher....oh yeah....and SALARIES are higher.

The people in our California offices make at least 10% MORE than I do.

People really don't live much differently from one region of the country to another.

I guess you could always come to Oklahoma to buy your new boat and then tow it back to California - although, CC (and everyone else) has guidlines that dealers are supposed to follow regarding marketing outside their area.

OF, take a chill pill... Of course I didn't mean that literally, it was meant to be an example of the way CC may favor one dealer over the other, thats why I said "for example..." And anyway, the reason I brought that up was for something private that happened that I should not have brought up--that's my bad...

However, I do feel there is a slight difference in the way CC treats their dealers. I've delt with different dealers from different areas, family and non-family, and they both talk very differently of how the company treats them.

Ever wonder if that has something to do with the dealers committment to the sport and the product line?

Absolutely. One is family and Nautiques is #1 to him, I'd assume. And the other sells 2-3 Cobalts for every 1 Nautique, as well as an expensive yearly membership to a private club. Yet, the owner of the Cobalt dealer owns the second hottest 216 I've ever seen and usually buys the exact same accesories as we do for our boats.

I also think it's more priority than committment at times.
