Shame they took the wording 'Super Air' off the side of the boat for just the logo 'Air 210'. I know there's a new 220 Super Air but after all its years of being at the top it's a shame to 'de-badge' the original favorite dont you think ? :???:

I completely agree witht the last three posts. The simple graphics and towers are definitely the best and IMO the 210 should still be the "super Air" until the wake on the 220 is proven.

Interestingly, in the press release just posted CC describe the old favorite as follows :

With 850 pounds of ballast for peaky wakes with lips that kick and an optional 375 horsepower
PCM® engine that jumps you up on plane, this boat is the single-best wakeboard boat on the
planet.

Does this mean it's still the Daddy ???

I have to admit, I like the swivel board racks for convenience purposes, but I love the clean look of the flight clips with the boards tucked neatly against the tower. The flight clips also make it easier to dock my boat next to or under a dock with a roof because the boards don't stick out as far. I was constantly grinding off the edges of my boards when I docked my previous (never to own anything but a CC again) '01 X-Star. I guess you could always spin the racks inside the boat when you dock, though.

Same as Harry_Potter mentioned, I'm curious whether the 210 will no longer be a Super Air? I've always felt bad for my X-Star buddies whose boat model was downgraded when the picklefork came out. It appears my Super Air might be in for the same treatment.

I'm disappointed to see that the windshield has been extended to be more similar to what others makes are offering. The ability to just reach out to pull into a dock plus speak to my rider as I pull beside him(her) w/out craning/reaching over the windshield was a neat feature, IMO.

The tower is a tad overboard, too. The added supports on the AIR 210 remind me of the huge 2000 X-Star tower -- huge and clunky.

I am getting that impression, personally. Not that I wouldn't take one. I do believe that the Super Air Nautique is still the One.

And the comment about de-badge'ing the 210 is a great point. Indeed it is a bad move on their part. Sometimes I just do not understand what they are thinking down there at CC headquarters. It seems like they are trying to take the mindshare of the "Super Air Nautique" brand and applying it to the 220. Which appears to NOT be their flagship. Crazy. I am so suprised. This wasn't quite what I expected.

I think I'd be more inclined to buy the 06 210 than the 220.

Those are some good questions about what CC is trying to accomplish, exatly.

Just saw the '06 210 at the Richmond Boatshow yesterday and got to spend some time in it. I thought it was really nice. This boat had the Z06 and the tower was pretty cool, I liked it a lot more in person. I also noticed that they are not shipping them, yet, with the new clarion CMD-4's, it had the excact same stereo setup as the '05's. The only differences I could find from my '03 were;

1. Tower
2. Speaker grills.
3. Locker hatches had buckles instead of actuators.
4. Anchor light on top of tower instead of power antenna thingy.
5. Tribal flames, which did not look too bad.

Oh yea and I forgot to check the ballast control valves to see if they had been upgraded.

Lake Gaston Watersports, I was totally shocked. I was there helping a friend out with the purchase of a new center console. We were looking at boats outside and I walked through the doors and BAM, '06 210 front and center, like the showpiece for the whole show. Not many wakeboard boats there, Southern Ski boats (MB Sports, Centurion, Gekko), Lake Gaston Watersports (Correct Craft), and some other company had a Moomba DD sitting amongst a bunch of I/O's.

I have a 2001 SAN, for the record. It is very simple, no graphic, no tribal tattoo'ed flames or batman graphics.

I thought you had a Super Sport?

I don't like the new Air line. Graphics look terrible and the new towers are too overdone.
