Does anyone know if it is possible to get a polished frame for a windshield on a 05 SV211 and what all does it involve in taking the windshield apart?

just the silver powder coated w/shield. beneath the rubber trim along the bottom you will find the screws to remove. getting one back on is trickier; you have to maintain the gap between the edge of the closed door & the driver's side piece (ie. a 1/8" or less gap).\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\" -

I am considering getting my windshield painted. I just got my tower powdercoated silver and have some leftover paint that I had to special order. How big of a deal is it to get the glass out of the frame and all?Comment
