I apologize for not mentioning that the lake was very shallow (less than 10 feet) so I am sure that made quite a difference in the wake being effected. We will have one again at our place in about three weeks (Sept 24th) for our open house/demo days. I will try to get pics then.

      Weighting my SAN

We put 100 hours on my SAN this summer. It's not a Team Edition. The center ski locker ballast is good to have. We now put about 400 - 500 lbs in center to bow of boat (ballast and/or people) and the wake gets crazy big with rear ballasts full, and you are right the center weight drops the bow a bit and the wake is much more rampy and less wall-like.

This is what a professional boat should do, and it does toss the unskilled. It's truly the best wake for the agressive boarder that wants to kick it hard and fly. Anyone that doesn't like the steep wake of the SAN needs to move the weight a bit more forward. This adjustment to the bow weight seems to accomplish what the wakegate does, moving the bow up or down which changes the curl at to top of the wake.

220 at show at Lake George Sept 16 - 18?

Oh I forgot this thread was about the 220, I got caught up in the discussion about wake size/shape. I'm going to the Lake George, NY boatshow in a couple of weeks. Adirondack Marine is supposed to have a '06 220 on the way, so I hope I get to check it out. They are having a wakeboard clinic on Sept 18th so maybe I'll get a pic of the wake if they demo the boat. But, maybe not, I think Tige is sponsoring the clinic.
