This looks like a good spot to boast about my dealer.. Wawasee Boat Co. (WBC) in NE Indiana... they bend over backwards to make everything right.. this is my 2nd boat (the other was 16 years ago) and still the same excellent service both from the sales (Dave) and the service dept & owner(Doug).. They even volunteered to "teach me" to winterize the boat if I wanted to know what to do (let me sit with the mech while he does my boat! This is not a small marina/dealer either... they are located on one of the largest lakes in the tri-state area of Mi/In/Oh!

age4ever, no he didn't charge me a dime and I made the wakeboard comment tongue-in-cheek. I know several people who have bought from him without a single issue so I'm not the only one. You're never going to please everyone but I think it's kinda bush league to slam someone on the internet when we're just talking about a few isolated situations. At least give him the opportunity to respond. I own high end cars as well and expect the same from the car dealers and I've never been disappointed.

talbertini, glad that he's taking care of you. Hope he doesn't stop that anytime soon, I'm not the only person who has complained about him as a person. I don't know that it's "a few isolated" incidents, I have heard numerous accounts of his shadiness. Either way it's ridiculous that he isn't taking care of his OWN customer. I know that he refused to tell my Dad the price of a new Sport Nautique in '99 saying "You really can't ask the cost of these things." Refusing to give my Dad a quote. Having an attitude like "if you have to ask then you obviously can't afford it" is not exactly the way to make sales... Kind of like my uncles friend who owns a high end classic guitar shop, walked into the BMW dealership looking somewhat scruffy, cash in hand. The sales person has the grapes to tell him that he "couldn't afford the car" so off he walked. We came up to Portland in my dads beater truck so I guess we weren't good enough to buy from him. Oh well to be honest I'm quite glad that he was such a jerk to my family, never have to deal with him again...
You have your experiences and we have ours, there's nothing that either one of us can say will change our opinions.
        How about \"Chales\"?
