    Poll Question

I just looked at the recent poll and it says that the majority of you that have taken it don't plan on buying an 06 nautique. Just curious why.

Did you already buy one recently, don't like the new ones, the economy is bad, fuel prices scare you??

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are.

I don't plan to buy a 2006 because I took delivery of my 2005 196 this past April. I do like those new graphics on the 2006 196 though... :???:

You can sleep in the 196 as well as drive it BASC. Sorta like a "houseboat" if you will. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

          RE: Just remember

My 02 196 has less than 100 hrs., looks like it's never been wet, and it's paid for. I redid all the graphics, customized the engine cosmeticly, and there is no performance benefit, slalom wake benefit for me to make the change. This is my 3rd Nautique, and when the time comes, that's what #4 will be. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

            RE: Just remember

I am on my second competition boat now and both were purchased used. When you buy new the value drops too fast, I will always look for a 2-3 year old boat that someone garaged and took care of. The "new out of the box" thing isn't worth the 10G's of value...

              RE: Just remember

I just put too much time into customizing our boat so it's like no other Nautique on the water, it would be rediuclous to get a new one and start all over from scratch... With about 230 hours on it, its barely broken in in our family... :-)

And also, I think my family still thinks that the 216 has the nicest lines and is the coolest looking Nautique by far and are dissapointed CC is turning away from that style of boats now with their new rounded-end style.
