    cc factory cover

What type of material is the cc factory cover? I'm planning on making a 350 mile trip next week and need to decide very soon. Are there any negatives to the factory cover?
    Thanks,
    Jbeau

      RE: cc factory cover

After 2 weeks of rain in OH I took off my old cover and found a mess.

Ordered a new Sunbrella from skiboatcovers.com on Saturday and the cover arrived today (Tuesday).

Poles are nice, snap on the bottom of the cover rather than poke through a gromit.

My straps didn't come with the package, so I'll check back in.

Overall, I'm please with what I got.

        boat cover

I would not leave the cover on for longs trips. I lost one on my old air nautiuqe going three hundreds miles. I just bought a newer boat in massechusets and had a transporter bring it down. Well when he got to my house, the cover was ripped after a 1900 trip.
