Wakeboard Boats that the Pros are Using

Does anbody know what are boat eachof the members of team Nautique are using as there personal boat and maybe how they are weighting them? I know that Murray uses the 226 Team but was wondering about all the other team members.

    Thanks

I wonder if CC would release that info? Probably not...

Yea, they don't seem to want to release alot of information, I have owned 5 Malibu's and I fell the company is great to deal with for the most part and then you ask Correct craft for information or pictures and they will not give them to you. Why is everything such a seceret with them and other companys its out in the public eye?

this industry has become very compititive. Used to be CC would even give you a glimpse of future products when you visited the factory. No more. Besides, when you're at the top Yellow_Flash_Colorz: , everyone is watching you.

Danny Harf and Shawn Watson (i believe) also prefer the 226. If you watch The Buttereffect dvd, the all white 226 used for Rusty Malinoski, Watson, and Harf's sections is Danny's boat (I'm pretty sure). Byerly still prefers the 210, but he pretty much never rides a wakeboard anymore...just wakeskating. I ride with some guys who wakeskate and they like the crisp, steep lip a lot more for skating.

As far as weighting...when I had a clinic with Shaun Murray, he mentioned he barely puts any weight in the front. This creates a steeper, peak-ier wake (not as steep as the 210 mind you). He said he actually does not prefer the steepness of the 210 wake as much anymore. He also rides at 80-85ft and when I watched him ride, he was going about 25mph. If you've ever seen him ride, he charges HARD with a lot of edge. He did the biggest raley I've ever seen in my life, but still had the ability to edge in slower and pop straight up to land some TS 7's (all with a healing knee).

As I said in another post, I believe the 220 caters more toward this style of riding and progression of wakeboarding, (similar to the new Xstar wake...long ramp with lip at the end). In terms of physics, your momentum change is not as abrupt with a little more ramp, meaning you can generate more speed (energy) into the wake and have greater success transferring that momentum UP with you.

          My $.02

PS---I ride behind our 210 almost everyday and LOVE the wake. It's effortless to get great pop. I've also ridden a well weighted 226 and would rock that wake any day of the week as well.

Is this certain, or is it possible CC just wants their top riders using their newer wakeboard boat? I'm not trying to cause a debate or anything but I would think Correct Craft, as a major sponsor to those riders would be in a position to dictate what boat they would prefer.

That being said, it does seem that the pro level of wakeboarding is gravitating toward longer & longer ropelengths, higher speeds and all that is more manageable with wider, rampier wakes from the larger boats.

I agree. It's my impression that CC loans/gives these boats to their team riders. Some may have their pic but I'm sure CC wants all their "competition" boats out there, so others may have to take what's left over.

I had heard at the beginning of the year that Harf had a 211, but I am not so sure anymore. I do remember that Bylery and Watson had a 210 and Murray and Necrason had a 226. Of course, I could be wrong, but thats what I heard.
