2006 Speedometer - Paddle Wheel?

I heard that the 2006 boats are using a paddle wheel to obtain speed readings for the Correct Craft (Faria) speedometer. Is this true, and if so, can I convert my speedometer to use the Perfect Pass paddlewheel? I'm tired of the CC speedometer reading one speed and the PP reading something different. If I calibrate them both at a certain speed, they work fine at that speed, but give different readings at other speeds. Does anyone know if this pitot-to-paddlewheel conversion is possible?

isnt the sv211 paddle wheel as well?
my buds 05 has a paddle wheel and no perfect pass or pickup on the back.

Is his boat a signature edition? These boats have never had a pick up. All 2006 boats will have teh paddle wheel instead of the tubes on the back. Jeff,
to answer your question, I am not sure if yours can be converted. I don't know what was changed in the faria box.

i dont know, it is not a team, but has the air package. and no center ballast tank.
i know that for perfect pass you can plug the tach and speedo hookups right behind the dash.
iirc it does have the faria box.

dont hold me to it im only 99% posotive. i do know it does have a paddle wheel and no pitot tube. the paddle wheel is next to the drain plug. the depth finder is opposite it. i was looking for a new speedo for my martinique and came across the faria website and it was describing the contro box. http://www.faria-instruments.com/index-new.html

do the gauges have the digital display in the lower half and does it have a key start or a keyless start?

the tach has the digital hr meter,nad depth finder, thats it. and it has key start.

if it has key start, it is a signature boat. these have a different gauge system and CC was able to use the paddle wheel with this system.

yes it has faria gauges but they are analog.

i just ordered an 06 210 team and there still are the tubes out the back. this is one of the things that surprised me how low tech it was. my 04 wakesetter did everything from the paddlewheel and it was great and simple, no prob all season, no catching on weeds like my previous boat.

there are no pick up tubes on the back of any 2006 boats. Are you sure you weren't looking at a 2005?

where do you ride that you catch weeds on the pitot?
we have had boats forever and have never had anything get trapped on the pitot.
