    Carbon Fiber/LED Grab Handles

Ok im gonna get stared on some winter projects.
Ive got some goodies in the works. Here is some shots of the latest project. Carbon Fiber grab handles. These handles will have LED lights on the back or under side of the handle where your fingers will wrap around. This is a router template. Im gonna have to get the thicknes correct and then add some shape to the handle. I want them to look close to stock

    RE: Cabon Fiber/LED Grab Handles

I'm curious Bling, why would you not just add the LED lights to the existing handles?

My guess is he wants the look of carbon fiber instead of cheap plastic. BTW cool project Grant!

Grant, you never cease to amaze me. I know there are two grab handles on the front and one on the transom. Which ones are you replacing?

Also, have you though about adding them on the tower like they are on the 220?

            Bling on!

My Air has 3 grab handles. 2 @ the back seet and 1 @ the passenger seet.
The 2 stainless steel grab handles in the bow are more of supports for the tower when its folded down. I havent thought of replacing them.

I saw the grab handle on the 220. I wasent sure if It would be cool to add a C/F handle to the tower. I havent felt the need for one. Im sure you could make a bolt on one, no problem

I forgot the grab bars were located different in an Air. As far as the front ones, you are right, you wouldn't want to replace those because of the weight of the tower.

Keep us posted of your progress. Thanks.

So Im just starting to shape the handles. I got kind of caryed away with the curves, LOL But they feel so good in your hand, This handle makes the stock handle look straight. I want the handle to have abit more shape, It also needs to be a tad wider then the stock one so that when I router the space where the LED's are going to fit the handle will still have some strength.

When Im finished with the shape this will be my mold for the other 3 handles.

I hope CC take notice of some of the stuff you do. Maybe you should consult for them or become their CEB, chief exec blingmeister. Love the stuff you do, always awesome.....

That would be awesome to work for CC. I would make them come out with a BE "Bling Edition" $20 grand more with all the goodies. Make a X star look like a SION. LOL

lol, maybe help design the new barb wire SAN! (I don't know whether the SAN now referrs to the 220 or the 210. In my books the 210 will always be the real SAN the 220 is just a new bigger different boat, the 220SAN)
