Looking good. Nice not needing to wait til November for it to be up. Definately have a lot of work to do though. Looks like they're going to keep the same style of a site though...?

Hmm... has anyone looked at the "Air 210 Options" page... Couple things weird...
They show the Flight Clips and Spinner Board Racks as an option, I thouht the clips were replaced by the new ones...
Did anybody see that new tower on the 210? That is one funky looking tower! I don't think that's the one in the catalog. It doesn't have the reinforcements and looked like somebody just molded it like clay... does look kinda cool though...

I seen that tower too. I don't believe that is their production model tower and I'm amazed they have it on the site. I have seen a few 06' 210s and this tower was definitely not on them.

Yeah, that's certainly an interesting tower concept. Haven't seen anything quite like that.

Who the heck does their website?...I would get fired if I ever went live with a site that was that incomplete and filled with that many mistakes, even the old website had several spelling errors. (yes I know its not done yet, but thats not even in beta form and they put it out to the public)
I'm not sure why they don't see their website as the primary storefront that reflects their company.......it says to new consumers "we can't even get our website right, what makes you think we can get a $60K boat right"
Here's a few tips...
1.) Proofread the thing..if your paying someone to do it, there is no excuse for spelling and labeling errors.
2.) Get rid of the fancy flash/plug-in required, music on/off junk.
3.) Lots of pictures, big detailed pictures
4.) Update it, update it, update it...you actually have loyal consumers that want to hear about anything new with your product..most companies pay mega $$ for the faint hope that people will visit the site more than once.
Ok...rant off...just kills me to see them make super basic e-marketing mistakes.

I thought they did a decent redesign for 2005 last year. I'll reserve judgement until the site for 2006 is complete. Some people are against the use of so much flash, and I totally understand that. My personal opinion is that a company that releases a distinctly new product each year (such as boats of a new model year) should have a site redesign each year. Like patoloco said above, large detailed pictures are KEY, even if they have to be downloaded seperately from the site itself.
My guess is that they do not have a person whose sole responsibility is their web presence. I think that is a shame, and I think that they are indeed missing a great opportunity. That being said, I can understand one possible reason for their not spending more money on their web presence. I believe Correct Craft is selling out of their boats at a quick rate every year. Their current production facilities (which are soon to be changed) do not allow them to make any more boats than they are currently making. Why would they spend the money to create additional marketing when they are currently selling out of product?
I agree that there is something to be said for having an outstanding website, even if it isn't used to generate sales. My prediction is that they will do a total redesign for 2007, once the new plant is up and running, and everyone is settled in. In fact, I look for a substantial marketing change in 2007. This is just my guess.

only time will tell but I still think it is sad that they release this site when over half of it isn't working. The tower that you guys are seeing was a concept design but they are not selling that exact tower on the boat. For anyone ordering a 226, wait to order your tower. Rumor has it that they have a new design for it.
Spinner racks are an option on the 210 and they are standard on the 220. They are not available on any other boat.
As far as the factory, I will believe it when I see it. They have pushed this off so many times already.
Well, we shall see about the factory. I haven't heard anything in quite some time now.

I wonder if the new website will look something like this in 2007
I can't imagine why you chose Sea Ray's site as an example.
Actually, that site looks to be pretty well layed out. It is a little bland for my taste, but the design is easy to navigate and well thought out.

I understand what everyone is saying but we have to put it all into perspective. For the last couple years CC has been the absolute last to update their website to the public. Last year they waited for the dealer meeting in Nov. (I think) and then the final edition was released, still with errors. People have always complained about CC updating their site so late and wanted it to be open to the public with the other companies.
Now CC finally put their site out extra early, letting us view the work-in-progress. We all understand that it isn't the final edition so shouldn't expect it to be 100% perfect yet. For all I know now that it is online it will be used as an incentive (sp?) for them to continue to work on and perfect it. They now know people are watching it every day to check for updates so know that they can't just let it sit. I'd much rather see a site progress online than wait and wonder what the **** they're doing down there...
That being said, I think we should wait like Jeff said til November, which seems to be the deadline for the final site, then we can bash them for their mistakes. But as of now, I'm just happy to see something...
