Gotta send thanks out to Clay and Grant! I added the kits to the drivers and observers seats. The drivers seat really works well. The observers seat I could have probably used a bigger element but still does ok. It did take the edge off after the sun went down! Nice idea guys, thanks again.

Hey FIY'
The elements are all the SAME. You dont need to change the element under your vynle. The controler and the switch are all you need to up grade to. I just found this out. The controler $80 is what gives your the 2 or 3 heet zone's you simpley unplug the control unit and plug in the new control unit and you can get the higher heet zone's.
Also the element's are fully water proof. Our supplyer says the uits are the OEM equipmet in Hummer's and they can be fully submerged UNDER water and still work no problem.
I noticed that if you have your body in full contact with the seet it gets real warm. But if you back or but is not touching the seet it dosent seem to as get warm. I almost thought it was a pressure switch in the element that turned them on and off. But its just that the cold air gets between the seet and your back and gets cool.
Try the new control unit wth 3 heet zone's the higher heat go's like 7-9 degrees hotter

Dave 210 : Is that a serious question? In case it is No I nver use the boat It sits in my garage in it never gets anywhere near the water. I took it out once and it got wet I didnt like that. And then the 2nd time I took it out we just went to the parking lot at the lake and sat in it. I made everyone where a full Chemical/ Bio suit from head to toe so as not to get my boat dirty. we all sat around in our chemical suits chilling at the lake but it got way to hot so we went home and I have never taken the boat out since.

Now Grant, to be fair, you probably could have found your way around the boat with a 99 cent flashlight instead of all those fancy LEDs Yellow_Flash_Colorz:. It's all good. bling bling. BKH2001 Super Air

Flash light's LOL
Yes AC seets would be a bit harder. gotpwd yes you are correct. People are doing some pretty wild things to the boats these day's so it wouldnt suprise me if some day I saw that. But IMO people are way behind accepting gizmo's it still seems like there is a large portion of people that just want a no frill's boat. Try selling then AC seet's LOL

How about the electric coolers we all see at the wally world. They work on a principal that if you heat one side of a special metal plate the other side gets cool. the problem, is that in the general region you are adding heat, but on the side that is cooling, it does cool things off. This is all electric. Even an a/c system works by moving heat, and heat is generated in the process. I would think a general a/c system for a boat would be easier than an car due to the fact you don't need a large condensor, a smal freon to water heat excanger is all that would be needed.
