I'd take a look at a1autotransport.com if you want a pro that's on the affordable side to move a boat for you. I've used them to haul cars a couple times over the years and when I bought a boat last year, I thought I'd have them handle that too since I know it's a service they provide. No complaints and like I said, definitely on the affordable end of things. If you dig around their website, they've got a couple discounts that might be applicable too - helped me knock $50 off the cost just being a veteran. Good guys to work with and I'd certainly use them again if needed.

Sorry I didn't notice this was a very old thread. Disregard previous answer (unless someone else needs to ship a boat of course).

Check uShip.com. They have hundreds of thousands of vendors ther. All with detailed ratings. (If they are experienced)

I bought a very nice OG SAN from a member here. It was delivered to my home from Minnesota for $1400. Just read reviews. And Talked to driver before committing.
My driver drove out from local with his pickup did random loads along the way and then brought back my boat.
It was well prepped (thanks Rick!). He wrapped the windshield with towels. And pulled the cover down super tight. It was dirty when it arrived since it snowed in October. Think he might have blue taped the hull in possible rub spots.
He went out and back in 3 days or something crazy.
