New Perfect Pass Display Graphics For 3.5" Gauges

Correct Craft/Nautiques 2002 and prior have 3.5 inch Perfect Pass gauges.
A new digital display is available, but Perfect Pass has not put Correct Craft/Nautique graphics on the 3.5 gauges because they were unsure of demand for upgrade ($200) for 6.5gn software.

Master Craft has graphic on their 3.5 and 5 inch perfect pass gauges.

So, if you're interested in the upgraded digital display - it's cool, but only if you get CC/Nautique graphics, you should email PP:

Here's a pic of the new display with Malibu graphics.

RE: New Perfect Pass Display graphics for 3.5" gauges

Let's make this a sticky thread. I bet with enough demand, they'd probably be willing to do this.

They are offering the new display in the 5" size for Correct Crafts, but people with boats made 2002 and prior are stuck with the generic Perfect Pass graphics on the gauge face if they order the upgrade (due to their 3.5" gauges).

    Here's the 5" Nautique display.

I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

No offense mgaspence, but why show a BU display when we're trying to sell a Nautique display. Good job Jeff. While I'm not convinced of the new chip (for the avg. person/skier), I am glad to see a possible offering to Nautique owners with a 3.5" display.

No offense taken. I am not selling anything. I just want a new 3.5 inch perfect pass digital display with cc/natique graphics. The PP new 3.5" display is only available with graphics for Malibu, Mastercraft, Centurion, and others but not CC/Nautique. The pic was just one example of the 3.5 inch gauge for another manufacturer's boats. Jeff posted the 5" gauge I believe as an example of what the 3.5 might look like if Perfect Pass decides to make it available to all of us CC owners with 2002 and prior dashes with 3.5 inch cutouts.

RE: New Perfect Pass Display graphics for 3.5" gauges

I got this reply from sales at Perfect Pass:

We do not currently have the 3.5 inch graphics display with "Nautique" or "CorrectCraft " on the face - the displays have "Pro Series" on them. We are aware that CorrectCraft had a problem with the 02 gauges and that some boatowners had their gauges changed out from the Teleflex gauges to Faria gauges. Perhaps you could check among your friends to see what the general consensus is pertaining to this. If we are to move forward to producing the "Nautique" face we would like to get a better idea of which gauge we need to move forward to.

Would appreciate any feedback you could provide.

          Thank you!

          Carol

I am unsure what difference it would make if your 2002 or prior boat had teleflex or faria gauges. They all use the paddlewheel pickup. I would think it's just a matter of getting the CC/Nautique graphic on a 3.5 inch new pp digital display.

You can email your comments to PP at email previously posted int this thread.

The Faria vs. the Teleflex would be different. A "Faria style" would be a more traditional gauge with a black background. The bezel would be black or chrome (depending on the gauges in the boat). I think we are going to end up with all faria gauges, as ours are dying. So we'd love to see a "Faria style" gauge face!

the gauge faces are different colors. That is why they are asking. The Teleflex was black with a black bezel or silver bezel. The Faria replacement is white if I am not mistaken.

Oh, I see. I would opt for the Faria style. I did swap out the teleflex for faria. They do look more classic to me. My digital gauges worked but they never looked right.

So, my preference if PP decides to provide CC/Nautique graphics for 2002 and prior would be for the white face match.

                Thanks for the clarification.

My mistake. My Faria replacements for my 2002 SAN digital gauges are black faced: They match well. These were sent to me by my dealer (Adirondack Marine). So, if we do get PP to make graphics for new 3.5 digital display I hope they match these.

So, if the question is what background PP should match? It would seem a black face would be best.

                      Any comments from the group?

I don't know, for me, personally, it's kind of a who cares. My PP was put in
aftermarket, and it says "perfect pass." Never seemed to be a problem.
the boats says Nautique all over the place anyway. Just my $.02.

I agree, not a big deal. My replacement gauges say "Faria" they match great and the name doesn't change that.

But, for $200 for the new digial PP display (which is very nice), it would be nice to get branded boat graphics on the gauge. PP has branded faces for most other makes.

We currently have the generic black face with chrome bezel for PP. Not a huge deal, but it would be cool to have a branded face if we upgrade.

I got an email from Gary Allen at Perfect Pass asking if the Faria replacement gauge faces where black. I sent him the link to this thread that has the pictures.

I think Perfect Pass may be putting this together. I've gotten two emails from PP company asking what gauges/colors are most preferred.

Thanks to all that emailed PP. I think we may get our 3.5 inch gauges with CC/Naurtique graphics on new digital display.
