220 Questions

Does anyone know the weight of the 220? I checked on the CC site, but I'm not sure that the weight that they list is accurate. They show 3860, which is the same weight that they show for the 210.

Also, I thought that the center tank wrapped around the in-floor locker. The information on the website seems to indicate otherwise. Which is correct?

Does anyone know if the 220 utilizes the Fusion technology? WOuldn't that make it heavier than the already heavy 211?

I was told from someone reputable that the ballast wraps around the center locker. I don't think I remembered to check if the 220 I drove had that storage, I didn't open it up, but the belly ballst did fill and the boat was loaded...

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if that caption is wrong...

They have fixed the weight on the website. It is now listed as 4070.

Dry Weight on the 220 is 4070 lbs. The Belly Ballast DOES wrap around the side of the floor ski locker and there is actually more room in there then in the SV211 with the Belly Tank

I thought it did. The floor locker on the 220 that I saw was huge.

Can you fit a wakeboard in there? If I had that boat I don't think I'd slalom behind it if I didn't have to..

break out another 20 bucks in gas everytime u fill up.

the 220's belly balast tank does wrap around the ski locker on the team edition. i havent been on the other ones or worked with em but my guess is that they are the same way. the ballast system is annoying on that boat tho. u have to pull away the back seat, pull up the carpet, pull up the little access door, then open the valves. and they dont dump out the side anymore either, they empty from the bottom :rolleyes:

yeah, but if i could afford the boat in the first place, i could probobly afford the gas...
my boat? we dont run ballast, i dont want to pay for double fuel consumption.
