As a footnote. . . Freeze For Life will still go on. . . looking for a marina to sponsor (LOL) . . . and will be around the first week in December. Now that I do not have to worry about boat shows and all of that jazz the event should be even better then the last few years. If anyone has any changes they would like to see feel free to throw them out there.

Hey Brian, that was pretty well said... I hope you can "re-discover" the pure fun in boating... and how it is supposed to be the exact opposite of unpleasant work... And anyways, now you get to be the one to brag to your Nautique dealer about your tricks or what's wrong with your boat and what you need... ;-)

      Take care...

      ~Austin

EDIT: Any changes in Freeze for Life? Yes, bring it more east!

        Austin:

Thanks for the words. . . I think we might team up with another CC dealer in Indiana . . have two events the same day and kind of challenge each other to see who can make the most for there charity (with a little event to event wager in place). Maybe for 2007 we can find a marina out by you (or this year if you think someone would have interest) and all three go against each other.

Also, never commented to you and your Dad. . . but your boat is one of the sharpest I have seen!

Thanks again for the words and talk with you later,

        Brian

Hey I'm always up for a challange. This year we tried to get any sort of "Nautique Day" type of event, but closest thing we got was NE INT to come a little closer to us. About this time last year I actually emailed your place and Megan Koch got back to me with a great detailed list of how your Freeze for Life event works in hope of helping me help develop a similar event in my area. So anyway I guess what I'm trying to say is that me and my dealer seemed pretty excited to have a Nautique Day event last season, so maybe this year we can make it happen, I'm all for it...

                Nautique dealer in Southwest Michigan

I'm new to the site as of today. I have been reading the discussions and felt I should let you know we exist. We are a Correct Craft dealer in the southwest corner of Michigan located in Coloma, near Benton Harbor/St. Joseph and approximately 1 1/2 hrs from downtown Chicago. We've been in business for 16 years and a Correct Craft dealer since 1995. Obviously, we are not one of their biggest dealers which is why you may not have heard of us, but we are good at what we do and love what we do. We are at the Chicgao Boat Show every year and will be happy to help you if we can. Our website is guysmarine.com. Let us know if we can help.

                  Brian,

I am glad to hear that your back on the water FINALLY. If you’re ever out in the NW suburbs next summer feel free to contact me for a pull. We will always have room for you.

Once again, thank you for the impeccable customer service. Unfortunately for the other dealer now they will be held to those standard.

                  Thanks,

                  Scooby

I was just told that Mid-Ohio got rid of the Nautique line because CC wanted them to double their order on the boats. They couldn't even sell the 2005's they have on the lot, because as we all know Nautiques are expensive, so they were not selling around here.

Brian, please keep us up to date on FFL 05 if it happens. Our crew always has a good time, plus it is for a good cause.
                      I don\'t care.

Add to that a price increase and no more rebates!

That's too bad about Rockford, he was the only dealer in Illinois near Chicago. Does anyone know if there is plans for a new dealer in the Chicagoland area?
From lake villa, the WI CC Dealer is only an hour drive away.
I have driven by many times, but have never stopped there. As for Chicago, Munson and Chicagoland Mastercraft are a haul for anyone not in northern part of the Chicago area. The clubs down south (Water's Edge, Essex Rec, etc) have a 2 hour drive in horrible traffic to get to the dealer.

From what I hear, Extreme doesnt move alot of boats and they have taken on Skier's choice in the not to distant past.

As for Freeze For Life 2004. this is a fond memory of the prep for the footin run behind the big boy boat.

you're all wrong. Mid Ohio did not drop CC...CC dropped Mid Ohio! When you do a bad job of promoting a product..or promote other products over another, you tend to upset some of the manufacturers. Plus...if you, as a company, do not have alot of cash, you can't buy product to stock your inventory. Thats the real story. Don't believe the website. It's hard to admit your broke to the public.

                              Dan,
Be cautious when you start making statements like that. You need to take some of what you hear from CC with a grain of salt. Besides, I don't think badmouthing a dealer that preceded you is very professional.
