G'day Guys,
I'm looking at purchasing a couple of Rule 17A general purpose pumps for my ballast system. Seeing as they are non reversable, I will use two. 1 to fill & 1 to drain.
They have good flow rates, which makes them seem good for this use as they will fill my ballast quackly, but I'm not sure how well they'll work in a ballast system. I know they're not self priming, but that's ok.
Has anybody used these pumps or something similar for their ballast pumps.?
I'm running 3 x 500 lb sacs and 1 x 250 lb sac. Will these pumps work ok with sacs.?
Any advice would be appreciated as I will have to import these pumps to Australia as they are not available here. I would like to know if they will work before I get them.
