Well since we are no longer a Correct Craft dealer we were told by our CC rep that we could get parts for one year to service the customers that had bought boats from us. Well after they gave their word that this would happen we have now found out that they have decided to not honor that agreement either. We have many customers that bought CC boats from us because they like the product but as it has been stated here many times because of the quality of the dealer and the people that make up any dealership. You would think it would be in the best intrest of CC to keep these customers happy.....I guess they really dont care about the customer in the end. This just adds to the disappointment in Correct Craft. :|

RE: CC Customer Service - or Lack Of
They brag about their amazing 5-Year-Promise when you're buying a boat and how much they will do for you. But then once you buy it, its like they have no idea what warantee you're talking about. I think their customer service dept. really sucks... sorry CC... but not impressed... They're making a Porsche but offering a Ford warantee....I Nautique, therefore I am.

They are not breaking their promise about the warranty, you would just have to take it to another dealer. What stinks is you had a really good dealership which is now gone. I think the fact that they don't want to honor an agreement they have help up there is less than honorable. I know they have heard of the Golden Rule.Eric Fox

And what's wrong with Fords warranty compared to Porsche.
Sounds a little out of character for a manufacture to not honor an agreement involving CS. Is there more to this story? :shock:Lack of proper planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Mid Ohio is still an outstanding dealer, just now it's time to switch those CC customers to 'Bu or MC. Best of luck to the guys at Mid Ohio...have heard nothing but outstanding things regarding the operation.

I contacted CC soon after I found out Mid Ohio was no longer a CC dealer. Due to me planning on buying a 211 in the next few months I didn't know what dealer to go to. After approx. 3 weeks I finally received a reply from CC stating I needed to go to Mid Ohio and they would take care of all my CC needs. So they don't even know who their dealers are??? I wish I could convince myself to buy a BU or MC just due to the fact that CC has NO customer service at all!!!

Maybe its just me, but if a company makes the best boats, they should have the best customer service...I Nautique, therefore I am.

I agree with Edwin. Mid Ohio is a great dealer. I was disapointed wihen I heard the news. However, I would like to hear the whole story before passing judgment.
I will say that having no dealer here in Colorado, the CC factory has really stepped up to the plate to help me with the few problems I've had. If not, I would have bought a Bu long ago. A good dealer is much more important that the sticker on the side of the boat.
Abun, what problems were you having that your dealer couldn't handle? I know CC is very stern in making sure you go to your dealer first.

RE: Re: RE: CC Customer Service - or Lack Of
My story is a long one, I don't think I should post it all here this isn't the thread for it. Anyway, I think I've brought it up a number of times in the past. Its also not just one story its got a beginning a middle and an end to it... Since then, I've had a hard time letting CC off easy w/ me as far as customer service.
I know some have disagreed w/ me regarding part of my issue, but thats ok.
What made my story different from others is that the issue occured before we even had our boat physically. It was in fact the company's fault. The blame goes to Orlando or the regional office. I actually like the story a bit because my dealer really did an amazing job in helping us fix the problem, and find a way to make our boat come out better than planned. If every potential costumer in my area heard my story, I would not doubt at all that they would not hesitate to buy a boat from my CC dealer. So I may think the CS in Orlando sucks, but my local dealer here in CT has the best CS I've ever seen--they have my respect...I Nautique, therefore I am.

What disapoints me is Mid Ohio Watersports charging and sending me parts that I didn't order in place of parts I requested. I returned them at my expense over 2 weeks ago and have not been credited back the charged amount. I will wait a little longer for refund.

I see everyone having problems with their dealer so you know what you should all bring your boats to Candlewood East for anything you need, tower, t-shirt, or new boat, they've got it and will get it done quick! Right now they're offering a whopping 0% discount to PN members so I think you all should act quick before they start making a surcharge for us loyal-folks.I Nautique, therefore I am.

Oldfart has no clue of where he is located at! He is lucky enough to find the power button on his computer to log in and provide us all with a bit of humor for the day.

RE: CC Customer Service - or Lack Of
I guess I can not understand why a company who reps 3 of the top 4 comp.ski boat manufacturers is wondering why one of the companies has the kahuna's to go somewhere else!?!
I sell machines to factories, as dealer, and I am sure 2 strong competitors would not allow me to sell both lines of equipment.
Where is the loyalty in this situation?
As far as I am concerned, Nautique not only has the right to make decisions regarding who deals their boats, it is there primary responsability. Dealers are their hands into the boat-buying community. Dealers are the first line contact for customer service. Dealers represent the COMPANY. Dealers are the COMPANY! I think the first sins committed here may lay in the hands of the dealer who represents 3 competing companies.
I am sure MidOhio is a good dealership with outstanding CS. I am also sure that CC is an outstanding company that must make tough decisions to stay successfull in business.
If I were to make a judgement based on integrity alone, I believe I would go with the company who choses loyalty over $$$.
I have not gained any respect for the company who once preached the CC word and now slaps them in the face on this website.
Take the high road guys - you are lucky to have had CC - and are lucky to still have MC and BU. Do not be surprised if one of them gets a little bent over time.
