I have the sales recipt from 1991 for my boat, to its second owner ( I am the third). It says 18,500 for the boat in Feb 1991. I found out from my friends with the 1977 that their boat was sold to the ski team in 1977 for 14k brand new and bought in 78 for 12k from the team. With inflation, how are we doing with new inboard prices relative to the old days? What did you pay for your older (say, 2000 or older) boat new? I know in 1977 14k would buy you a Corvette, right? What could you get for 18.5k in 91? A vette?

RE: What did your Nautique cost, back in the day???
I bought my first Nautique in 1995, it was a 1994 leftover. It was a Ski closed bow with a walkthrough windshield, heater, shower and Pro Boss. OTD was $24,500. I sold it 3 years later for $20K. I will hold of on the pricing of my 02 until a few more posts occur.

I'd rather not state the price on the 01 Super Air.

Interesting thread. I bought my 01 SAN as a year-end demo so got a decent deal on it and I've been the only owner. Although it is starting to creep up in hours (500ish) I feel I could sell it for what I paid for it, if not a little more. Certainly I wouldn't take a hit given the many, many hours of enjoyment it's provided me!
Problem is a replacement for it would cost an arm and a leg. Oh, and I'm only now starting to get mine BLINGed out to my liking!'08 Super Air Nautique 210

1977 Ski used in 1986 6k (my first boat!)
1980 Ski used in 1990 6k
1993 Paragon new 53k
1999 Air Nautique new 36k
2005 206 Air new (probably shouldn't say?)
My first two boats were sold for more than I originally paid for them.
All have held their value well and performed flawlessly with minimal service issues. Best of all they have helped provide myself, my family and my friends countless hours of fun. Nautiques Rule!!!

1993 SN original price on sales sheet (from memory) was $26,400 from Calif Correct Craft. Had upgraded stereo, Bimini, Pro Boss, and R&S tandum axle trailer. I paid $20K for it in 96.
1995 SN original price $27,600 From Larsons Marine in Nor Cal. DHM tandum trailer, shower, upgrade stereo, bimini, Ski Pro TBI motor. I paid $17K in 04 and replaced the Pro Ski w/ the 93 Pro Boss and added FCT. Both boats are Vapor blue and black.

I paid $5000 for a 1977 Ski Tique in 1982, I sold it in 1985 (200 hours later) for $6200. The most I did was change oil. The boat is still on the water today.Life long Nautique guy
Will ski anytime.

$17K for my brand new 1987 early in '87
$13,900 for a '91 with 16 hours at the end of the '93 season
I sold it for $12K in '02, but probably could have gotten $1-2K more.
I'll stop there since the thread asked for pre-2000.Ski on dude!
