This is a very interesting thread for those of us floored everytime we price a new nautuque - took me awhile to find the original invoice for my boat . For a 1999, Sport Naut, GT 40 engine (21ft OB direct drive), base price was $29, 868 (no options incl), looks like the trailer was separate - 2000 trailer $2,900, Total $32,768 . Using the CPI index calculator in 2007 dollars the same boat should cost 36,289 or 39,812 with trailer. This boat is between the 206 and 216 - anyone know the 2007 price (no options) for the 206 and 216 ?
Of course my original invoice did have options - $1,167 - pop up cleats-$190, ext pylon 100, air water guage157, depth gauge 194, under bow light $20 and $500 for burlwood dash and steering wheel. More recently a FCT and ballast was added.
06 Ski Nautique 196 SE (2010)
99 Sport Nautique / GT 40 / FCT (2005 - 2009)
1980 ski nautique 5000.00 in 1999
2001 pro air 26K in 2005, had to dump a bunch of money into it to get it the way it is today. Never take a dealers word for the conditon of a boat, but it was still my fault for buying sight unseen.
CENTRAL TEXAS WATERSPORTS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not to mention they are a bu dealership.......
