    Cold temps

    todda,
WOW that's pretty cold. I have been in a contest with one other ski boat this year of who will be the last to go out. I won, but at a price - it was only 52' water temp with a dry suit, after reading the above I feel like a whimp - smile. I am in Oregon, McMinnville area - the river is too flooded now to even try. If I did I would be posting "How do you replace the drive shaft yourself" - smile.

we started with a 100 degree rule, but got greedy and lowered it to a 80 degree rule a few winters ago. we even went once at 75. it was snowing, but it was new years day so we just had to. wasn't too aweful bad.

        RE: Cold temps

I think today was the last day for us. It was just a touch under 40(air), water temp was 41.5 and wind was 20mph. Still fun though! The ponds already are iced over and I'm guessing that the lakes will start getting ice in the next day or two.

882001- Air temp of 80 sounds beautiful. We got our first frost up here in Wa state last night, air temp today supposed to hit a
high of 43 deg. We are planning on a after Turkey day ski tomorrow, supposed to hit 45 mid day! Texas sounds very very nice right about now!

Air Jeff- I have nothing to complain about! Brr, at least our lakes don't often freeze over up here!
