2nd Battery Location for 216

Hey guys.

We are currently rigging our new 216 and I think we need to add a second battery.

My dealer is recommending placing it up in the bow. Is this a standard location, or do any of you have any other recommendations for placement?

If you buy a gel battery like an Optima, you can lay it on its side under the right rear seat. That's where mine is in my 210.

Our second battery is located in the bow. It is under the right cushion, right in front of the drivers side. Make sure you put it all the way as far starboard as you can othereise you are losing a lot of storage on that boat that cannot be spared...
