The Boarding School is a blast. If you would like to head down the week we're there, get in touch with Travis soon. He was holding spots for PN members, but since I had only heard from a couple of people, I told him that he should go ahead and fill the rest of the house with other people. That was yesterday, so if you want to go down at the same time as us, contact him soon and tell him you're with the PlanetNautique group and tell him I sent you (Jeff Carroll).

Jim and The Boarding School

My son Jim asked for a spot today via The Boarding School website.

I'll email Travis with the email you provided. As soon as we hear if there is a spot avaialble I'll send the deposit and let you know if he's in.

I sent email to The Boarding School today to ask for a spot for the Planet Nautique group. My son Jim also inquired about registering on their website. We are waiting to hear back from them. I hope there is a spot left.

Hey Jeff,

My son Jim has a spot for the Boarding School with the group in May. He is really excited and started working out already.

Travis emailed me yesterday and I sent the deposit and information on my son. Jim is going to be 20 yrs old in May. He is a sophomore at Castleton College, Castleton, Vermont. We have a summer house on the Rideau Lakes in Ontario (Sand Lake) and Jim has been boarding for about 5 years. He slalom skied when he was 4 yrs old. This season we got our first SAN from Tom Roach at Adirondack Marine. So, Jim is trying things at a whole new level compared to our 18' chris craft ski boat.

Thanks for letting the Planet Nautique members know about such a great opportunity to learn and ride with two of the best pros. It should be an experience of a lifetime.

I am really excited about the trip this year. We'll have a few PN members there, and it is great riding with Shaun and Travis. Tell Jim to get ready for Shaun to do stuff like this!

Hey i set up all of my flights. I heard from someone else, that Shaun got hurt at a competition the other week. has anyone talked to him? or know whats going on with the riding? Let me know.

Yeah, I've got an e-mail out to Travis about it. Sounds like he was knocked out while attempting a KGB 5 at the first pro tour stop. He ended up face down in the water, not breathing. The guys pulled him into the boat, and got him to the hospital. Doesn't sound like he was too bad off, considering what could have happened. He had a concussion and whiplash. I'll let you know what I hear from Travis.

Travis said that he's fine. He hasn't been out riding yet, but has been back at the gym already. He'll be fine by the time we head down there.
