We also had a less than enjoyable experience with our local CC dealer. In fact, we ended up going to the local MC dealer and they were great. But rather than getting into repetitive negative details; I would like to hear from members who know of CC dealers that they have had great experinces with and who they would recommend.

I've had good experience with Larson Marine in Northern California. Not everyone I talk to likes them, but they've done well by me. I know the owner on a first name basis. The parts, service, sales and pro shop personel have been in place for a long time. They know I'm picky about my boat, but will pay what it takes to get the job done right, and so they go out their way to ensure that the boat is stored inside, etc. I have at times been frustrated with some of the mechanics leaving a mess in the boat, but I'm not that surprised - these guys are pretty overworked, and I doubt they're paid highly. When I have had problems, the owner or service manager have made it right.

I would highly recommend Silver Spray Sports in Fenton, Michigan. They are great to deal with and there are no high pressure sales people on their staff. Instead, the boat sales are handled by the owner, Jeff and his wife, Patti. They also have a very well equipped and well run service shop, plus indoor winter boat storage available. They know what skiers and boarders want, as they are heavily involved in the sport.

I am on the list with SSP. Looking forward to working with them. Also, I will be just as apt to write a positive review about whoever we give our money to, even if it is not a CC dealer...

Tom Roach at Adirondack Marine runs a family oriented business and is the most personable salesperson/owner I've ever dealt with.

I stopped one day in the Spring just talking about my interests in CC and wanting to trade up from by 1986 Chris Craft for a wakeboard boat my son would appreciate.

He took me in his truck to a couple of his storage facilities and we looked at some new, some slightly used equipment. I found a 2002 SAN that just dropped my jaw to the ground, and the rest is history.

Tom called my house, made arrangements for financing after willing and appropriate negotiations. A true gentleman. When ever I am in the area we stop just to chat and he's always great to talk to.

So, find another dealer. Like anything, or anywhere, people are different. This guy you mentioned lost a sale, but he's only in it for the money anyway. Find a dealer that's in love with the sport and the brand and can appreciate your interests.
I have heard great things about this dealership from others as well, and Tom specifically. They supposedly run a top notch establishment. I've heard such high accolades about these guys that I would make the drive if they had the right boat!

Son Watersports in Anoka, MN is a fantastic dealership, the owner, Mark, is just a super nice guy who is great to deal with!!! Also, Mid-West CC (Angloa, IN) is a great group of people to deal with!! I am on my fourth nautique from four different dealers and have had a great experience at all four locations!! There are bad eggs in every company, it is too bad you found one of them in CC, but there are 9 great ones to every 1 that I have experienced!!!! CC is a great product with A1 Quality! It is better to look at the quality of the product rather than the one idiot that you ran into! Hopefully things look up for you!!

I started looking for my first boat this summer. My first stop happens to have been a BU dealer since that is what I grew up on. They were horrible at best. I then looked at Supra and they were better. In fact, I was pretty impressed with their product and the price they were going for. They did not have anything that I was looking for but I spoke with them several times and they had to know that I was extremely interested. I gave them my contact info and let them know exactly what I was looking for. It has been about 6 months and still have not heard back, guess they don't like selling boats.

No big deal anyway, my 211 will be arriving in about a month or so. I live about an hour from Silver Spray Sports in Fenton, MI. I called one evening as they were closing. I spoke with Patti (who turns out to be one of the owners), and she was ready to wait for me to drive all the way out there to look at the boats that evening. I set up an appointment a couple days later for after business hours because of work. I met with Doug and we spoke for almost 2 hours about the boats and why we should choose CC.

My wife and I walked away extremely impressed with the service and the product. Point is, there are good CC dealers and bad ones, nothing you can do. Even if they would have been horrible, I probably still would have just gotten a used CC since they clearly make the best product.

When we finally ordered the boat after weeks of talking to them, it was a group effort on their part. One of the owners Jeff as well as Doug helped us through the ordering process and provided a lot of great feedback.

I would highly recommend Silver Spray Sports.

                      Caudo,

Thanks for the nice comments. We are as anxious as you are to see your new boat come in. The color combo is awesome!

                      See you soon!

I second DRAGON88. Pacific Nautiques is top. Rob is one of the best guys around (IMO). Buying my second from PN, just waiting for it to be built. Also want to add CCC. Bought my first Nauti from Tim. Also a great person. Thanks to both of them. PDT_003
