Great site, I've been lurking for a while thought I'd join in. We picked up our new 05' 211 last week. Love it so far "5 hours".

I'll warn you in advance I'm new to boating and wakeboarding so prepare for an occasional stupid question.

"ihaveansv211" those surfing picks are great. What speed are you at and are the balasts loaded?

hey taz welcome!

my boat has the two rear port and starboard tanks and i fill both of them all the way. i surf at anywhere between 8.5 and 9.5 on the perfect pass. any slower and the wake gets washy. any faster and its hard to keep up with the boat without holding the rope. anymore questions just ask me!

oh yea i forgot to tell u about what we do for different riders. if u ride regular u will be riding on the port side of the wake. if that is the case then fill the port tank all the way. and fill the starboard tank half way or leave it empty. it is the exact opposite for goofy riders. for beginer riders either way we just fill em both. having more wieght on the side u ride on will create a smoother wake. and having an equal weight through out the boat will create a washy but steep wake. which is real good for cutting into it real hard. but it is very tough to stay with the wake if u are a light person like me
