    THE SOLUTION

here is the latest from my dealer:
"They have sourced out their own impeller to do the trick and there is an
adjustment for the sensor in the tank that I believe will be placed with the
rest of the circuit breakers. It's a pretty slick set up and I've seen the
system work outside of the boat."

    ya baby, ya

Ok went down last night and had a look for these circuit breakers, amongst other things and for the life of me i couldnt find them. on the starboard side there is about 6 black boxes dangling down but i think they're relays then not too far from that is this fuse holder with 3 fuses in it, 2 x 20 amps and 1 x 15 amps, i checked the fuses and they were good. Also there was this white cylindrical box dangling down behind the ballast gauges with ballast written on it, what the **** is that? has anyone got a photo of these circuit breakers so i know what they look like?

rad, maybe I missed something but where is your dealer in all of this?
jonfo, the '05 & earlier models did not come with the current jabsco; install them yourself? Sounds like jabsco owes you some type of representative percentage PDT_001

Ours were tripping the curcuit brealer everytime we tried reversing the flow (pumping out). They havent been used in cold water (hey it doesnt get cold here).

Watch the volt meter when they are pumping, it drops down alot, we only pump whist the engine is running.

CC have sent us new pumps with a new model number (ending in 1), which are being installed this week, let you know how they perform next week.

            jonfo, the '05 & earlier models did not come with the current jabsco;
I use a jabsco for my secondary ballast system in my 211. i put a T into the port pickup between the pickup and the shutoff valve. I changed the hose bewtween the pickup and the T to 1" ID hose (was 5/8), then used a 1" ID T, and all 1" ID hose to fill 3 secondary sacs; a 680lbs in the ski locker, and two 400lbs v-drive sacs - all fly high pro x series.

Oldfart We dont have a local Dealer in Western Australia so the closest dealer to us is 3000 km's away, or 1875 miles. Hence we havent had much support from him. To put it into perspective two weeks ago there was no SAN's here, now there is an 05 one and our 06 one.

                  radmaster,
open the port side storage locker and look on the sidewall. you will find the circuit breaker box there. It is pretty hard to miss.

Ok. I had a bit of a miss print. The new pumps sent to me by cc have the same seiral number, but on the side where the voltage rating is they have a different number (4001). These new pumps are working a treat compared to the old ones (4000) and havent tripped to breakers. Might have to give them some more time testing.

Was at my dealers place on the weekend and CC had just shipped him enough replacemtn pumps to replace all the pumps on his 06 orders, so at least it is being fixed

As PJDave said, the new pumps we have installed into our 06 work great. We had a look at the impeller in the new and old pump and they appear to be “very” simular. Having a background in electrical engineering and from my analysis, it appears that the electric motor is the culprit. I agree with Jonfo that there is a motor winding design issue. The old pumps drew a significant level of current (so bad in fact that there was significant voltage drop) during operation, the new pumps work with relative ease and don’t knock the circuit voltage around. I also have to comment that the placement of the new pumps is a godsend compared to previous models, very easy to access if the need ever arises!

ok mattoz, so how did you go about having them replaced? i guess we should go through our distant dealer, which means the pumps should be here sometime in 2008?

I had a email from John Haines earlier this week, he is aware of the problem and I believe that they have replacement pumps avaliable. I suggest you give him a bell. If the pumps need to come from the US you should have them within 2 weeks of your order.

                              Radmaster,

Your dealer should probably have some there ready to go... all teh Aussie dealers received replacement pumps for any 06 orders already delivered... Give them a call to see

                              Steve

got my 06 210 today, i see the serial number on the front label of the pump, is the 4000 or 4001 number on the back, so that i have to unscrew it (from the back of the seat) to see it?
