rad master, you have a differnt binimi to ours (i have a spare one like yours, which is identical to last years) The first pic is an optical illusion, ist hard tubed. From a top view the binmini comes to a point in the centre, not a straight bar

Look forward to the pictures, Speck, and I will start brushing up on my "me too's."

If I were CC, I would appreciate such feeback from this board, even if they have to endure a derisive comment or twenty along the way. It has struck me as simply wrong since joining this board that our site admnistrators are seemingly getting nothing but a few t-shirts and tickets to the opening of laundrymats as remuneration by CC for providing this forum of important feedback to CC. The least they could do would be to extend some at-cost offer from time to time to this site's members. Then, we would stroke Jeff and Luke for hooking us up. No?

My best guess is that it is an echo chamber of praise and a culture of back-slapping and that-a-boys among staff at CC HQ; the best evidence of this is that so much stuff they get horribly wrong is first aired on this board. They might even have to hire a critically thinking person or two in the area of customer service in the absence of PN, assuming that their business model is NOT to just to throw it on a plate and tell us to shut up and enjoy the burned toast when it comes out of their kitchen. If they think their captive dealer network is going to tell them the truth about how they feel, nevermind us, they are even more inbred and delusional than I think.

Bring on that new thread, Speck, and let's get on with this day of reckoning. I should be hearing positively about my "board rack spacer" filing this fall at the U.S. Patent Office. Proceeds of my settlement with CC will be shared with the PN membership; perhaps, as a donation to the site.

              ER,

I'll say sorry and really mean it to anyone who asks and is po'd at me for not dropping this Flight Clip issue and keeping it out front and center on this board. Having said that, though, I am determined to see CC clean up this mess.

Before somebody gets on their soap box to lecture me about being nice, trust me when I say that I took the high road at first (as always and of course) but got treated like dirt by the guy who apparently got whacked by CC for whatever reason, which may have nothing to do with my issue.

I came to CC in September with a complete fix to their board rack problem, which they did not recognize as a problem or their problem... And, the only evidence after four months suggests that they embraced my spacer concept but with complete idiotic execution...use half the '05 Flight Clip brackets as spacers..gimme a break...it would have been no less ridiculous to have provided Speck with naked Barbi dolls with holes drilled through them to use to pad out his board racks.

As a personal matter, CC should have treated me like I did the female Congressional staffer aquaintance of mine several weeks back after she walked down from the dais of a crowded Committee hearing room on Capitol Hill to tell me privately, "XYZ, Examine Your Zipper, PDQ," and then provide much-needed physical cover while I closed my barn doors ASAP, er PDQ...she and I had a great lunch at a toney Washington, DC eatery the following week with me the thankful host, or course.

I do have to say one thing about CC development team. They won't take anybody's suggestions. I mean nobody's. I have seen a number of CC problems, both design and manufacturing process, which CC threw a bandaid at. The poor dealers and service centers, the people working day in and day out trying to fix/repair their problems, would come up with better solutions but, couldn't implement them because they didn't have CC's seal of approval. I have seen a case whereby a proposed solution was fabricated and documented on personal time brought to CC's engineering attention and nothing ever came of it. Even after months and months of persistence, it wasn't even considered. There was excuse after excuse; working on the next boat, "our" solutiion is fine; working on other problems.....

NOTHING and I mean nothing will come of it nor be considered by CC engineering. You're basically talking to a brick wall.
I don't know if it's because they are too busy working on the next boat or if they just don't care or feel that YOU possibly couldn't have a better solution than what they have. You're better off doing something on your own than trying to get CC to fix their problems.

WOW! The proverbial Pandora's Box. Well, I can appreciate Rhode's & WakeJunky's viewpoints. I have no soapboxes & I don't play with Barbies, but I have had business dealings with those who don't care & morons. But I have also made the mistake of judging a larger group due to the ignorance of 1 or a few. FWIW. ER

ps. Rhode, what do you mean by "half the '05 Flight Clip brackets as spacers"?

                    Flight Clip spacers

I did see the spacers that were at the dealer meeting. They are nothing fancy, but look fine and will serve the purpose. They are aluminum discs that are the proper thickness to provide proper clearance. They come with longer bolts and have a hole drilled thru each disc for the bolts. I don't know about when they will be available, but I did see them.
