Ok, so I sold my 89 2001 a few months ago with all intentions of upgrading, so now my trusty salesman has given me some food for thought..2 different 2002 SANTE, one with black hull, one white, one 240 hours, one 60, one has excalibur engine, the other has gt-40. What are your suggestions, thoughts, complaints or things to look for...I'm checking them out tomorrow am...thanks! Also, anyone with a black hull have any feedback on maintaining or heat factor of black? Is it like a car...beautiful when clean, pain in the a$$ when dirty...?

Black hulls look great! They are worth the extra maintenance required.

I've never ridden in a boat with the excalibur, but I understand it has more power, but I know for a fact the gt-40 will get the job done. That 60hrs would be REALLY tempting to me, compared to a (by no means high) 240hr boat. What's the $ difference?
Although that black would be SWEET!

the GT-40 has more low-end grunt. Just what you want in these tug boats. The excalibur has more hp, and you have to spin the motor higher to get the power out.
I have the excalibur, and it is great, but I would rather the gt-40.Comment
