As some of you may know, The Connecticut Dealer has a scheduled building of their new facility for this coming year. Does anyone have any input of what they would like to see inside the showroom that should hold up to 15 boats? Please offer your insight. Thanks

RE: Ideal Showroom
a nautique section and a cobalt section, the two need to be divided into the "badassness of nautiques" and "laid backness of cobalts.
oh and a section for my tools of course

RE: Ideal Showroom
A small media room/area that not only has a flat screen TV on the wall playing a video over and over on how the current CC is built and how each model that CC builds is used for different water events, such as the 196 being a ski boat, the 210 mainly being for wakeboarding, 211 a crossover boat, etc… but also pictures and documents framed on the wall telling CC history.

The new building is to be built directly across the street from their current location. (where the old tennis dome used to be). They are moving their entire facility from sales to service as well as storage and dedicating their old building to the members in the future. Possibly for a reception hall.

I have thought about the media room idea in the past too. You could host gatherings for people to come and watch waterskiing and wakeboarding videos, broadcasts of tournaments, and LIVE WEBCASTS. I'm not sure if it would bring in enough money for it to be worth the space required, but the concept seems interesting anyway.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

Definately a lounge--which would be great for Jeff's idea of hosting an event for the members to watch the Live Webcast. You should def. have a place for some sort of fun and recreation so that when it starts to rain in the middle of the day people don't have to go home--they can go inside, play XBOX or PS2 on the 50" Plazma, and have Shaun Murray Wakeboarding Competitions...
Lots of cool lights shining on and around the boats and the building. Maybe a glass window/wall so the action can be seen from the outside, and the showroom really looks much more awesome compared to any other... just some ideas...I Nautique, therefore I am.

To couches for the lounge, each shaped in the letter "C," only made from an array of jump seats, only... ;-)I Nautique, therefore I am.

Hard to tell from this picture, but at The Slalom Shop in Lewisville, TX, the indoor showroom has raised decking around the perimeter that boats back up to. Walking around on the "upper" level you get a great view and easy access into every boat. Plenty of storage space under the decking as well.
