yo rhode, where do you get that stuff from?
i can see the point about the bolt ends eventually gouging boards, that is why i put the bolts in the other way and pre rounded the heads of the bolts, like a carriage bolt almost (just enough to grab onto with a wrench). yes you have to look at the nuts on the backside and not a nice countersunk bolthead, but i cut the bolts close, and i have no board gouging. take a look at the first page.

Ryan_E: For the sake of amusement and using only a Q-Tip swab, tooth pick or a McDonald's straw, tell us how easy it is to knock off those flimsy black rubber nipples and thereby expose the steel bolt ends and lock nuts which will surely shred fiberglass wakeboards during regular use. This engineering shortcoming, too, was brought to CC's attention five months ago AND with a simple fix. I will beg off on repeating here how to remedy this situation, having already done so on PN a number of times.

Speck: Mother bear fed us only after a forest ranger called her out for stinking up the woods with a big pile of... Remember campers, only you can prevent forest fires.

i knew that was long overdue in coming, both from cc and rhode.
i look forward to getting my spacers, but i might just stick with what i made, because it is unique and all.

At the angle boards rest into the clips, it does not appear that they will contact the bolt caps/bolts. Also, with the "evolution" of boards, in the near future we may have to double the spacers anyway Yellow_Flash_Colorz: ER

ER, i think what is going on here is that the top bolt is no problem, but the lower bolt "might" be bumped by a board as you hang outside of the boat and hang onto the one end of your wet slippery board to carefully guide in into the clips. of course it "can" be done without damage, but it is an accident waiting to happen i think. thats why i took the trouble to put the bolts in the other way, and even to round their heads so it is impossible for even and idiot to damage your board. the stock way you have to pay attention too much.
what do you mean by evolution of boards?

Rhode – For the sake of amusing you. The only way I could get the black rubber nipples off is to pull and twist them. Yellow_Flash_Colorz: They are attached very snug. After pulling all of them off I got my wife’s wakeboard out to try and shred the fiberglass Yellow_Flash_Colorz: but no luck. IMO they look good and are functional without tearing up your wakeboard. No, I did not get paid to say that.

so ryan, did you get the extentions shipped with your boat, or did you get them after the fact, shipped seperately? are you and or radmaster the first to get them? i think i know radmaster already has his boat.

Speck - When I picked up the boat the extentions were on the tower. I also saw them on a boat about a week before I picked mine up at the lake that had them on too.
